The TIP product line consists of passive DWDM, CWDM, OADM, Cross Band 1310/1550 WDM, and Bidirectional Coupler products. This comprehensive passive fiber optic product ensemble, designed for both metro and long-haul fiber optic networks, allows users to easily and economically increase their fiber span capacities.
Product features include; easy installation, no configuration required, no power connections, fully universal allowing bidirectional communication on any port, can be used in 2 or 1 fiber spans, fully data rate and protocol independent, accepts 4 to 32 ITU-T standard wavelengths, accepts optical transmission rates up to OC-192 / STM-64 / 10 Gbps on all ports, 1 and 2 rmu heights, 19 or 23 inch rack installation, disassembles easily for cleaning, and outdoor hardened units are available.
These products are compatible with all ITU-T standard lasers, XFPs, SFPs, GBICs, Xenpack, SONET, SDH and products from many lightwave equipment manufacturers including Cisco, Nortel, Fujitsu, Alcatel, Ciena, etc..
